At home - 8 months pregnant - West Hollywood maternity photography

Good morning !

Today I want to show you an indoor photo session that I did few months ago. I LOVE so much "at home" session because, "you" - the subject - are always way more comfortable and relax. So it's then always better for you : better pictures, great mood. I always recommend my clients to do all or part of the pictures indoor.

Even if you don't have a huge appartment/house, even if it's dark, even if you think it's messy , disorganize or whatever you feel bad to take pictures inside your home, you should not feel that way.

First, with professional camera, if you know how to use it, I can make pictures way brighter than it is in real. And post treatment (lightroom, photoshop) can add also a little more light when I need some more (and very bright/white pictures is kind of my "thing" in photography!).

Second, the messy/disorganize thing : It is so manageable. We can put some stuff behind me and no one will ever know it. Also, the "depth of field" that we use in photography, makes thing behind all blur. And even.... your apartment is also alive. We can't have "show-room" indoor. It's life.

And third, it's much more comfy for you. When you are 7 or 8 months pregnant, or when you just gave birth and you have a 10 day old newborn at home, with maybe some siblings around, it's kind of really tiring to walk arround. I would let you have the best experience.

Of course, I also love to go out to take pictures.. There is so many beautiful spot in Los Angeles. I know a lot! Beaches of course, park, canyon, field... And maybe you have some favorite place too, meaning something, or not. I just feel like for maternity and newborn session the biggest part should be inside your "cocoon".
